When a screen feels unfinished, I do not add. I cut until the remaining elements can stand alone in the light.
Delay is not only a metric. It is a texture the body feels before the mind names it. Build for that first.
The first version always shouts. The work is teaching it to speak at the volume of the room it will live in.
I still begin on paper. Graphite has no autocomplete. It forces the hand to mean every line.
